How to Play Triple Draw Ace Through 5

Ace Through Five Triple Draw is a variation of 5 card draw lo. There is a 6 player maximum to a triple draw game. The object of this game is to make the lowest 5 card hand. Ace Through Five Triple Draw consists of 4 betting rounds and a total of 3 chances to draw to improve your hand. You bet initially when you are dealt your first 5 cards. After that round of betting you will have 3 rounds of drawing from 0-5 cards. Betting will occur after each round. After all 3 draws you will have a final round of betting before the showdown.

In Ace Through Five Triple Draw aces can play as low, and straights and flushes do not count against you. The best possible hand you can make is a wheel A,2,3,4,5 (flush does not count).

Additional Notes on Ace Through Five Triple Draw

In some cases there may not be enough cards to complete all draws. If this is the case, the previously discarded cards are reshuffled and the remaining draw cards are dealt.

2-7 Triple Draw Rules Overview

  • A maximum of 6 players per table.
  • Each player is dealt 5 cards, followed by a betting round.
  • 3 draws of 0-5 cards take place, each followed by a round of betting.
  • Once the drawing and betting is completed, each remaining player makes their worst 5 card hand.
  • Aces are low.
  • Straights and flushes DO NOT count against you as a high hand.
  • Lowest hand wins.
