How to Play Triple Draw Two Through 7

Two Through Seven Triple Draw is a variation of 5 card draw lo. There is a 6 player maximum to a triple draw game. The object of this game is to make the lowest 5 card hand. Two to Seven Triple Draw consists of 4 betting rounds and a total of 3 chances to draw to improve your hand. You bet initially when you are dealt your first 5 cards. After that round of betting you will have 3 rounds of drawing from 0-5 cards. Betting will occur after each round. After all 3 draws, you will have a final round of betting before the showdown.

In 2-7, aces always play as HIGH ONLY and deuces are always low. Unlike some hi/lo games, straights and flushes count against you in 2-7 Draw. The best possible hand you can make is 2,3,4,5,7 with no flush. Since aces can only be high, A, 2, 3 ,4, 5 is not considered a straight but rather the best ace low you can get. Since the lowest hand wins, a pair would beat trips and so on.

Additional Notes on 2-7 Draw

In some cases, there may not be enough cards to complete all draws. If this is the case, the previously discarded cards are reshuffled and the remaining draw cards are dealt.
